Amazing stay in a beautiful room!

What a fab place! The room was gorgeous and super comfy. The staff were so nice, helping with everything and making us feel special. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant, too. Only thing was the parking was a bit of a hassle, but the overall vibe made up for it!

It was a well-suited match for a cursory stop in Cardiff with value for money. Appreciate the friendly staff who helped us with our room mix-up. Consider bringing earplugs for a better night's sleep due to the noise from the main road.

I really enjoyed my stay. the room was super spacious and the bed felt like heaven. I loved unwinding in the lovely garden and taking advantage of the cozy lounge area. The only downside was getting up to my room involved climbing two steep flights of stairs, but it’s totally worth it for the experience! 🌼

the room was beautifull and really clean. we got a five star meal even though i had food intolerances and the chef helped me out. the staff were super friendly n made check in so easy. also loved the coffee machine in the room that had fresh milk, way better than that funny long life stuff! totally over the moon with my stay!

Only one large bath towel in the room felt a bit sparse, and while there was a coffee machine, the thimble-sized tea cups and limited tea bags were a letdown for a tea lover like me. the noise from the nearby beer garden lingered until midnight, which may disrupt light sleepers. Breakfast location was a surprise, requiring a walk of six minutes to a sister cafe, where you get a discount but can feel inconvenient if you're not looking to wander.

The stay was lovely, with a very comfortable Deluxe Double Room that had fantastic facilities. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby Llandaff Cathedral and beautiful parks. Although I faced a couple of minor issues like limited towels and a tricky shower temperature, they didn’t significantly impact my stay. What I enjoyed the most was the freshness of the coffee in the room, just what you need to start your day off right!

The room was spacious and well-appointed, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation. I particularly appreciated the excellent shower pressure in the bathroom, which adds a touch of luxury to the stay.

While the ambiance was generally enjoyable, the location above a pub occasionally meant some noise during the evening.

The atmosphere in The Heathcock is lovely, very inviting, and the staff are truly brilliant. I found my Deluxe Double Room charming, with a functional layout that made my stay comfortable. there were issues that detracted from the experience. I could only find one set of towels, forcing me to share a large bath towel. The toilet roll ran out too soon since we only had half a roll available. The shower was temperamental. adjusting the temperature took a lot of effort, and the water flow was weak. I considered mentioning these issues at check-out, but only bar staff were around, and they were busy setting up. The sound from the busy main road was quite noticeable, especially in the early hours when workmen began repairs outside. The steep stairs to my room had no handrail, which felt a bit risky. On the bright side, the huge bathroom was a nice surprise, and the fresh milk in the mini fridge was appreciated, despite the fridge being noisy at night.
